Mrs. Wierenga, 72, Resident Here 70 Years, Expires
Mrs. John Wierenga, 72 years old, a resident of Muskegon for 70 years, died Sunday at her home, 214 Myrtle avenue, after a long illness.
She was born in the Netherlands, March 2, 1866, and came to Michigan 70 years ago, with her parents. She since has lived here. On June 21, 1884, she was married to John Wierenga, in Muskegon. Her maiden name was Bieuwke Langeland.
Mrs. Wierenga was a member of the Berean church and formerly was associated with the Dorcas society of that church. Surviving are, her husband; one son, Henry Wierenga; two daughters, Mrs. Bert Stuit and Mrs. Henry VanAndel, all of Muskegon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
